Howdy!

At Canine Corral, it’s always our business to make sure your dog’s visit is enjoyable, safe and worry-free. As professionals, we are passionate about our work. We take pride in our facility and in our ability to care for each doggie client as though they are part of our own family. As a benefit to our clients, we consistently reinforce good doggie manners and we have an outdoor, fresh air potty area so dogs don’t forget about potty manners while visiting here.

Whether you need care for your dog during the day or for an overnight stay, Canine Corral is ready to help. We also offer training for owners with their dogs either as group classes or private lessons; and we offer a program where we to the training.

The facility is situated on a beautiful, rolling 5 ½ acre property adjoining Rickreall
Creek and includes some amenities which other facilities may not offer.

  • Property is fenced and gated providing extra security for the dogs

  • Building is newly constructed and designed especially for dogs

  • Parking is a breeze with an extra wide driveway and ample spaces in the parking lot

  • Since it is an indoor facility, dogs don’t go home wet and muddy

  • Building is climate controlled for year round comfort

  • Gym, affectionately know as “The Corral”, is 2800 square feet of play area

  • Floor covering throughout the gym is rubber matting – provides traction and cushion for dogs’ joints

  • Rubber matting is sanitary – easily cleaned and disinfected

  • Spacious windows offer abundant natural light

  • To make the visits a bit more like home we often play music or tune in Animal Planet on TV

We invite you to stop by, or better yet, call ahead for a tour. We have an “easy to find” location just 8 minutes west of downtown Salem. And we’re just ¼ mile off of 2 major commuting routes - Hwy 22 and Hwy 51. (Click for map)

Mel is a 2 year old English Springer Spaniel. He’s attended day camp 3 days per week for nearly a year. He’s had a few overnight camps too. His favorite activities are running, playing with balls and napping.

Testimonials

I wanted to thank your for the great care you gave to Boba and Zara while we were away. You went out of your way to take care of Zara and I greatly appreciate that. (Note: Zara needed medication from her vet.)

Thank your for the very special care you gave Harry & Chessie. Harry's attitude about his having been abandoned changed during the 3 days they were with you. He left with a new lightness of being we were grateful to see – he was in no big hurry to leave the kennel (overnight camp). You have a wonderful way with dogs that is much appreciated.

Virginia - Chessie & Harry

The Corvallis Trail Riders so enjoyed your presentation, your company and your dogs! We learned a lot about freestyle dog dancin' and info about dog training. You love what you do! We appreciate your time and travel to share your passion.
