If your dog could use a little better manners and some basic obedience, this class is for you. Topics include: sit, stand, down, walking politely, stay, come, leave it, jumping up on people, waiting to go thru doors and much more. Typically include the agility tunnel in the last session.

Basic Obedience/Manners II – An extension of Level I to add more precision, distance and duration of topics covered in Level I. Prerequisite: Basic Obedience/Manners I or instructor approval.

Sampler Package – This is a fun class to try several dog activities in 1 term. It’s an introduction to Tricks, Rally Obedience, Agility and Musical Freestyle. Prerequisite: Basic Obedience/Manners I or instructor approval.

Tricks If you want some cute parlor tricks, this is your class. We welcome ambitious folks too who want to teach more complex tricks. Or perhaps you’re curious how to teach a dog to perform a natural behavior, like a sneeze or a paw movement, on command. Prerequisite: Basic Obedience/Manners I or instructor approval.

Rally Obedience – This is a form of obedience offered at ACK shows but it’s also fun just to practice in a group setting too. All levels welcome. Prerequisite: Basic Obedience/Manners I or instructor approval.

Puppy Kindergarten – Get your puppy started off right with a training class. Topics include puppy socialization, manners, basic obedience, confidence building and a variety of other puppy issues. For puppies 8 weeks to 4 months old when class starts.

Canine Musical Freestyle – Get started in this growing new sport! Learn the frequently used moves and develop your own. Learn how to transition from one move to another. Practice with music. And maybe even prepare for competition. Prerequisite: Basic Obedience/Manners I or instructor approval.
